Funny Faces

Tripp's personality is starting to show through. I think he will be a bigger jokester than his sister.

Siblings

We are hving such a wonderful time watching Madison with Tripp. She has taken to being in the swing or bouncy seat when he is not. As you can see she has her own 'baby' to love along with her baby bro.

sorry for sideways photos-I forgot to rotate them before posting. Hey I'm happy even to be able to find a moment to post anything- 2 kids are keeping me busy!

Newest Dukie

He is finally here! After much waiting (though not as long as we waited for M) BBB is here. At 12:13AM 15 hours after arriving at the hospital BBB arrived. It took about 40 minutes after getting to that magic number 10 and the 10 pound 9.2 ounce 21 inch baby boy arrived. It took longer to name him than to deliver him. So here he is; Edsel (Tripp) Ray Baker, III. Welcome!

Still preggo...

technically BBB is not due until next week but I have been hoping that he would come early- isn't that what second babies do?

My Doggie

Here's my doggie Dacie. We have lots of fun together. My favorite thing to do is read her books. Mommy loves it when I crawl under the dining room table where she sleeps and read to her there.

My New Playset

Here's my new playset. I love going out in morning after breakfast and playing until Sesame Street comes on.

Just Jump In

Madison had swim lessons this summer. She took to it like a fish in water. She loved putting her face in the water and jumping off the side.

NYC in 12 hrs

We took the train over to NYC from PA for the day. I was able to have lunch with friend Niki from FL and meet her baby girl. Then Edsel and I jumped on the train to catch a matinee of Phantom of the Opera. We then grab a slice of pizza and headed over to Yankee Stadium to see a game and stadium before they tear it down next year. We took the train back out to Philly, now we can say that both kids have been to NYC at least in utero.

Trip to Philly

We went to Philly this summer to see Edsel's Aunt Kay and Uncle Nick and see some sights. They made us the greatest Italian food, showed us the sights and feed us some more. I had my biggest weight gain that week. We went downtown to see the historical sights and to the aquarium.

the envelope please...

after many many months of talking about whether to find out the gender of this baby- we decided that we would let m tell us the news. we had an ultrasound picture that showed the answer and we gave m the honors. she is very thrilled about having a little brother.

tiptoe through the tulips

we had the most beautiful tulips come this year. i picked up a bag of mixed bulbs at sams and was blown away by them. m of course had wonderful time walking through them one day. isn't she the most of them all?
(these were back in may by the way)

Green Thumb

These are M's very own roses sent by her grandma. M had a great time planting them and hopefully we'll see roses soon.

Visit to Durham

We took a quick trip to Durham to catch up with friends and check on the house. Edsel spent one day catching up on some stuff while I went to see my kids from P-town who were all at the Special Olympics. They were so excited to how M had grown and they all noticed 'the bump' growing again and knew to ask if there was another baby coming.
We are thankful to the Sotos who always seem to find a place for us to crash when we come to town. M took quite the likings to A & R. We only got a snapshot of A with M-she likes the older boys. Her daddy just doesn't know what to do.
We had a wonderful time seeeing everyone. Durham will always have a special place in our hearts.

Party in the Park

We had everyone come to the park to celebrate M's bday. It had been a beautiful week and then the weather reports came in to expect storms on Saturday. We were very lucky that the storms stayed awayed and we just got the cold weather. After bundling up the little lady we went to the park for some b-day fun. By the way that was my daddy's bike that he got on his first birthday. Thanks for saving it for me mamaw.

The BIG ONE!

She's one! What an amazing year we have had with our little girl. These are pics from her birthday proper. We played all day then went out for pizza. We opened presents and called one more grandma who couldn't come to KY. Of course what would a brithday be without cake. Mommy made a chocolate and vanilla cake -not knowing which one I would like. Can you tell which one I liked?
