My Two Favorite People

Edsel and I have made some good and bad decisions in our time together. One that we have made was for me to stay at home for now. While that allows me plenty of time to see Madison grow and achieve new accomplishments everyday it also means that Edsel has to work a great deal to meet the bills. He sometimes misses seeing his baby girl do new things for the first time. While we are very happy with lifestyle I know that it's hard on him. I am forever grateful to him for all the hard work he does for us. Thank God we have days like this. Madison took her first steps to her daddy. They were just 2 ity bity steps but they were her first. He just scooped her up and loved on her. She will always be daddy's baby girl. I love them so much.

Meals

Madison has always been a good eater despite her problems to gain earlier on. She is now moving on towards small bite size foods and boy does have fun with it. By the way that is not the spoon she eats with it, she just likes to play with the big spoons while get her food ready.

She loves sweet potatoes, blueberries and cereal.

Thank goodness she cleans up well!

teeth are in

Here's a glimpse of those 3 teeth that came in at once. She has another bottom tooth coming now. I'm telling you she doesn't get upset at all about new teeth coming through. I pray they all come in this easy for her.

A Late Valentine

Mamaw Sherry and Papaw Edsel sent this dress for Madison's First Valentine's Day. I managed to get it washed and ready for her big date with daddy but things went sour. We did manage to get a photo of her in it. We are just late getting it posted. Thanks Mamaw and Papaw for the pretty dress!

snow-rain-snow-rain

let me start with that I do love it here in Kentucky. I am however quite ready for spring. We seem to be in this cycle of snow, (just enough to get the roads slick for the day) then it the next day it rains. Rain - snow- rain - glimpse of the sun - rain. This was one of the more beautiful batches of snow we got. It really covered everything for a couple of days. It's hard to see the snowflakes in the photo but it was reallly coming down. ( I know it's nothing compared to what our friends in IL are facing but hey it was a lot for KY.)

3 at once

The picture is quite blurry but can you see all her top teeth? She is getting 3 at once and has barely shed a tear.
