My Lexington friends

We have been blessed to meet some other moms during our outings to stores and libraries. A few of us have been gettting together every week since December to share our lives and let the kiddies play. Here we are at the park on what was supposed to be warm spring day. Obviously as you can see how we are dressed it wasn't that warm. That didn't stop the fun though! By the way that's M in the New Yorker jacket and purple cap. This was one of our many attempts at getting M to keep her glasses on.

Eggs..eggs. eggs

At Easter we went to Uncle John's & Aunt Max's. Madison decided that she would bump herself into a side table to create her very own easter egg... on her forehead. Of course this was 15 minutes after her cousin Luke (4 mo older) did the same thing.

After a wardrobe change and some TLC she was all set to go egg hunting.

Big hugs from Luke after full day of eggs!

as time goes by...

sorry we haven't posted in long time. i have no excuses except that I have been enjoying this beautiful baby girl so much that blogging has just been on the back burner.  we will try to catch you all up M's happenings.

So sweet

I just keep thinking that next month my sweet baby girl will be one year old. It's really hard to believe all the wonderful blessings we have in our life.

My Two Favorite People

Edsel and I have made some good and bad decisions in our time together. One that we have made was for me to stay at home for now. While that allows me plenty of time to see Madison grow and achieve new accomplishments everyday it also means that Edsel has to work a great deal to meet the bills. He sometimes misses seeing his baby girl do new things for the first time. While we are very happy with lifestyle I know that it's hard on him. I am forever grateful to him for all the hard work he does for us. Thank God we have days like this. Madison took her first steps to her daddy. They were just 2 ity bity steps but they were her first. He just scooped her up and loved on her. She will always be daddy's baby girl. I love them so much.

Meals

Madison has always been a good eater despite her problems to gain earlier on. She is now moving on towards small bite size foods and boy does have fun with it. By the way that is not the spoon she eats with it, she just likes to play with the big spoons while get her food ready.

She loves sweet potatoes, blueberries and cereal.

Thank goodness she cleans up well!

teeth are in

Here's a glimpse of those 3 teeth that came in at once. She has another bottom tooth coming now. I'm telling you she doesn't get upset at all about new teeth coming through. I pray they all come in this easy for her.
